RESEARCH SERVICES

• A fully equipped analytical laboratory (HPLC, GC, GC/MS, NMR, SEM/MEDX, OPTICAL MICROSCOPY, FTIR and RAMAN) with associated expert staff.
  

• Mechanical testing (impact, creep and standardised testing), thermal analysis (DSC, TGA, DMTA) and rheology (Capillary and rotational rheometry) laboratories with skilled staff able to execute routine testing and more extensive physical characterisation programmes.
  

• Statistical support for consulting (experimental design, process quality improvements, database set-up) and training of researchers/marketing staff requiring statistical skills.
  

• The Research Information Centre for retrieval of information and library services, facilitating access to relevant scientific, technical and business-oriented data and providing training and support facilities for computer-aided information retrieval by researchers.
